Shiva
When the Halahala poison threatened to destroy all creation, Mahadev held it in His throat and became known as 'Neelkanth' (the blue-throated one). This is Shiva's sacrifice — He who drinks the suffering of others so the world may live.
Krishna
When Arjuna sank into despair on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, Shri Krishna gave him the teaching of the Gita — act, but do not cling to the fruits of action. This teaching still guides humanity across every age.
Durga
When the tyranny of the demon Mahishasura drove gods and mortals alike to despair, Maa Durga arose from the combined power of all the gods, and after nine nights of battle, slew Mahishasura.
Ganesh
Once, the gods debated who should be worshipped first among them all. It was decided by a race — whoever circled the earth first would win. Ganesh simply circled His parents and said, 'My parents are my whole world.' From that day, He became the first to be worshipped.
Ram
Fourteen years in exile to honor His father's word, the abduction of Sita, the building of the bridge to Lanka, the defeat of Ravana — and finally, the lamps of Ayodhya lit to welcome Him home. Rama's life is itself the greatest teaching of 'maryada' — righteous conduct.
Hanuman
When Lakshman fell unconscious on the battlefield, Hanuman lifted the entire Dronagiri mountain and carried it to save him. Strength, wisdom, knowledge and devotion — Bajrangbali is the supreme symbol of all four.
Kartikeya
When the demon Tarakasura's tyranny overwhelmed the gods, six divine flames arose from the union of Shiva and Shakti, and were nurtured by the six Krittikas. The six-faced Skanda slew Tarakasura with His divine Vel (spear) and became commander of the celestial army. This is Lord Kartikeya — the god of victory, focus, and inner purity.
Surya
Surya Dev rises across the sky each day upon a chariot drawn by seven horses — the source of life, energy, and light. His children are Yama, Shani, Karna and Yamuna. One who offers water at dawn is blessed with health, confidence, and radiance.
Shani
Shani Dev is the son of Surya — the supreme judge of karma. He gives every soul the fruit of their own actions, without favor or prejudice. One who walks the path of dharma is never troubled by Shani — instead, he is blessed with deep stability and inner strength.
