जय शिव ओंकारा, हर शिव ओंकारा। ब्रह्मा विष्णु सदाशिव, अर्द्धांगी धारा॥
एकानन चतुरानन पञ्चानन राजे। हंसासन गरुड़ासन वृषवाहन साजे॥
दो भुज चार चतुर्भुज, दशभुज अति सोहे। त्रिगुण रूप निरखते, त्रिभुवन जन मोहे॥
अक्षमाला वनमाला, मुण्डमाला धारी। त्रिपुरारी कंसारी, करमाला धारी॥
श्वेताम्बर पीताम्बर बाघम्बर अंगे। ब्रह्मादिक सनकादिक, भूतादिक संगे॥
कर के मध्य कमण्डलु चक्र त्रिशूलधारी। जगकर्ता जगभर्ता जगसंहारकारी॥
ब्रह्मा विष्णु सदाशिव जानत अविवेका। प्रणवाक्षर के मध्ये ये तीनों एका॥
त्रिगुण स्वामी की आरती जो कोई नर गावे। कहत शिवानन्द स्वामी, मनवांछित फल पावे॥
English Transliteration & Meaning
Glory to Shiva, the Omkara! Brahma, Vishnu, Sadashiva — bearer of Parvati as half of his body.
One-faced, four-faced and five-faced — riding swan, eagle and bull respectively — they shine resplendent.
Two-, four- and ten-armed — splendid; beholding His three forms, the three worlds are enchanted.
Wearing rosary, forest-garland and skull-garland — destroyer of Tripura, slayer of Kamsa — bearer of every sacred chain.
Robed in white, yellow and tiger-skin — accompanied by Brahma, the Sanaka sages and the host of bhutas.
Bearing kamandalu, discus and trident — Creator, Sustainer and Destroyer of the world.
Brahma, Vishnu, Sadashiva — the unwise see them as separate, but in the syllable Om all three are One.
Whoever sings this aarti of the Lord of the three gunas — says Swami Shivanand — obtains his heart's wish.

ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगन्धिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्। उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात्॥
We worship the three-eyed One, fragrant and nourishing all life. May He liberate us from the bondage of death, as a ripe cucumber falls from its vine — granting us immortality.
नमामि शम्भुं पुरुषं पुराणम्
I bow to Shambhu, the eternal, primordial Being.
